Lake Yamanaka

You know, this is Mt. Fuji~~!! I went for a drive to Lake Yamanaka yesterday with my family. Too cold!! My brother(yorkshire terrier), Marshmallow's small body shook with cold……

You may not know Hana-no-Koen(flower park)……

This is near Lake Yamanaka. You can see a lot of beautiful flowers. The park is illuminated at night in winter. Very wonderful!!

Of course, we went there. Night lake was colder than the daytime, but okay. Pretty illuminations!!

Look, Ponyo……Totoro……pretty!! Obake-no-Q-taro and Doraemon were there, too(no photos).

Forest fire!!

The fire brigade has tried to fight a fire by some helicopters, but hasn't worked well……

Today morning, some helicopters flied over our house again and again. The mountain still burnt. This emitted clouds of smoke .

Did you have a good time on Christmas day?? I had a small Christmas party with my friends at one of their rooms. This is a Lowson's cake! Chocolate and some fruits. Very nice! Did you eat Christmas cake??

We chatted and sang(??) untill dark, some Christmas CDs were playing. Little noisy for the next doors……?? But O.K because It's Christmas time, maybe(it's not okay!!). Very good time. Chocolate cake was very nice, of course.

Santa Claus will come

Little hurry, but Christmas time will come soon!! During a part-time job, many Christmas songs are being played …… 'Hurry X'mas' (by L'Arc~en~Ciel)……'Christmas Time' (by Celine Dion)……'Itsuka-no-Merry Christmas' (by B'z)……

Porno Graffitti has a Christmas song, too. 'Hard Days, Holy night'. Do you know that??

You know Santa Claus, don't you?? He is one of the most famous and popular person in the world……However, there are many persons who give some presents for children except Santa Claus. Father Christmas……Weihnachtsmann……Befana……Toshigami……do you know them??

Father Christmas is Santa Claus in U.K. Weihnachtsmann wears brown clothes and visits north Germany children with Knecht Ruprecht. Knecht Ruprecht wears black clothes and has a stick for bad chilren. Befana is a Italian witch, gives presents for good children, charcoal for bad children. Toshigami is Japanese old man in Shin-tou.

So cool!! I bought PG's new single. Words by Haruichi, music by Akihito. Introduction is so cool! Cool, Haruichi's guiter solo! I saw the video clip on the PG's official site, too. That's nice.

I got a special pletrum for this single. ……Can I play a guiter?? ……Of course, not. I have touched my friend's guiter, but I haven't played. So, I won't use it. However, this is my precious thing.

This song is little different from the other PG's songs, I suppose……I can't explain the difference……I like it!!

Introduction and guiter solo are being played in my ears again and again……I'm happy!

　

PG new single

'Koyoi Tsuki ga Miezutomo', a PG's new single was released on December 10, but I didn't buy it yet. I wanna listening the song! They released many songs this year......this is the last song this year. Words by Haruichi, music by Akihito.I like songs composed by Akihito. Many of singles were composed by him recently, so I'm happy!

By the way, they will sing at the intrasquad song game in the New Year's Eve. Which song will they sing?? I want them to sing 'Love, too Death, too' ! Words by Haruichi. That's excellent!

David Bowie

I heard David Bowie's songs. I borrow some CDs in a rental shop.
I love his voice!! So attractive!! I must return them next Wednesday, so I will listen again and again until next Wednesday.

I watched the movie 'Labyrinth' again yesterday. Five songs are played in the movie, and all of them are composed by him. He apeared in many movies......

'Merry Christmas, Mr.Lawrence'......
'The Last Temptation of Christ'......

so on. I wanna watch them.

My favourite books 3

I wanted the book, 'Davil's Dictionary' and bought it yesterday. It was writtin by Ambrose Bierce, an American writer.



It is not a normal dictionary. Satire, humour, emphatic, irony...... The explanation of the book says that it is a similarity between 'Gulliver's Travels' by Jonathan Swift, a Irish writer. I have not read 'Gulliver's Travels' except picture books. I will read it soon maybe......



Bierce was a journalist, too. He was called 'bitter Bierce' or 'laughing devil' because of his sharp writing style. However, nobody knew where he died. He went to Mexico in Mexico revoluiton and disappered in1913. This is one of the famous disappearance in America.



By the way, according to the book, love is a kind of a mental illness. What do you think about it??

'Labyrinth'

Do you know the movie, 'Labyrinth' ? It was released in 1986. I watched it recently because a friend of mine recommended me.



It is little similar to 'Alice in Wonderland', but it's more dreamy than 'Alice'. Computer graphics don't use in it! I couldn't believe it! Wonderful!



David Bowie, the British rock singer appered as the goblin king. He sang some songs in the movie, too. The movie looks like a musical film. I like one of the songs in the movie, 'As the world falls down'. It is played in the scene of dance. So romantic scene! I wanna listen to his other songs.

English literature meeting

I went to Aoyama campus last saturday. English literature meeting took
place there. I took a lecture on Beowulf, the epic in 8th century. It's very interesting, but difficult for me.......

However, I was surprised when I saw a person. A friend of mine, Anna was there! We took a lecture on English edition together. The scholar(I gorgot his name......) is an acquaintance of a professor I respect, maybe.

After the lecture, We went to Shibuya center area to took print club pictures. It's been a long time!

Blue-coloured Santa Claus

Look!! He ware blue clothes!! I found him at 100 yen store. A blue-coloured Santa Claus!!

I remembered the CD, 'gift' by Porno Graffitti when I looked at him. 'Gift' was released in this summer. The CD sleeve is a blue-coloured Santa Claus. Santa Claus is a specialist in gift. I was very surprised because I saw Santa Claus in summer.

The third song of the CD is 'Dialy 08/06/09' is very nice, too.
The song sings of their feelings the tenth anniversary comes. I listened to the song at aniversary live in the rain in November.
Only Akihito, the vocalist and Haruichi, the guitarist played. No drams, no keyboards, no violin, no synthesizer. I shook with deep emotion.

The second song of the CD, 'postman' is nice, too. This is interesting. Have you ever listened to these songs?

My little brother

This is my brother! His name is Marshmallow and I call 'Mash'.
He is in my sister's jacket. She put him into it.

Do you know the book, Summer Time? It's written by Takako Sato. She graduated from Aoyama Gakuin university.

After six years, I met the book again. The place was there! This campus! The book has become a softcover book and was sold at the bookstore! I found Takako Sato had graduated from the university for the first time. It's very nice story!

I bought the book, Nigotta-Kotoba, by Yukihiro Hujita last year. This is the book of poems and he is our listening teacher.

It is difficult for me to read his feeling into these poems, but I like them! I especially like Kagami, one of the poems! I bought the book at bookstore in the campus. If you like reading books or poems, you will like it.

Good morning!

Good morning! I had IE class at nine o'clock......listening class...... you know, I'm not good at listening.
By the way, I went to a hair dresser's parlor yesterday. This is in Fuchinobe. It took five minutes to reach there. This is a new shop. It was opened about a year ago.
I had my hair cut, but I was surprised to see my hair after a haircut. My hair became shorter than I expected! However, I became liked the hairstyle, so okay.
I wanted to have my hair waved after a haircut, but I didn't. I want to have my hair cut short in next spring!

Useless Ears

Oh, my god! I don't like listening test more than the all other things very much. Yes, I'm not good at listening to English. It's no big problem except when I have some IE classes. However, I have to work hard for a next listening test....... What? My marks in listening test? That's my top secret! Speaking of listening to English, I listen to an album, 'the Bridge to Babylon'(it may be wrong) yesterday. That's nice.

Yuluginai-mono-hitotu(B'z)

I borrow a CD from a friends of mine. 'Yuluginai-mono-hitotu' by B'z......it's the first time I listen to the song. I live alone and don't have a television in my room, so I can't watch some music programs , for example, CD TV or Music Station. Anyway, I think it's nice song. The coupling of Yuluginai-mono-hitotu is 'Pierrot'. I haven't buy their CDs, but I like some of their songs. 'Ocean' is very nice(Of course, my best and most favorite band is PornoGraffitti!).

Good morning (too late! )

I woke up just now. I had a strange dream, but it was not terrible nightmare. So, it's O.K. Speaking of dream, I bought a book at the bookstore in Sagamihara campus yesterday. The title is 'Though the Looking-Glass'. It was written by Lewis Carroll who wrote 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland'. 'It isn't for a next book report, of course. I had a kind of feeling that I want to buy it. I nearly always act with a kind of some feeling. 'Though the Looking-Glass' is too difficult to understand. A lot of nounsense and puzzles flood this story. Readers need a knowledge of chess, but I'm ignorant about chess. However, original 'Alice' is not only more difficult and more strange but also more interesting than Disney version of 'Alice'.

Doraemon

From last night to this early morning, I had a part-time job at Lowson. A clerk and I warmed up to our topic about Doraemon. I don't know why we talked about Doraemon. Few customers come to our convenience store and it impell us to chat. We sang a song that was played on the ending of Doraemon. By the way, it's so cold on my return from a part-time job. It was six o'clock. Oh, I'm very sleepy......so, I'm going to sleep for hours. Good night.

Joker and Ace

I'm listening to music now. My favorite band, PornoGraffitti's best albums, 'Ace' and 'Joker'. It's very nice. Especially I like 'Joker'. I won't be satisfied with these albums no matter how often I listen to them. I want to go to their live next year! I went to their anniversary live on September in Yokohama. It was a 'guerrilla' downpour day and the live was taken place in the open air. It's unforgettable in verious sense. It was the first time I went to their live......by the way, I still don't finish a book report. Oh no, how stupid I am! So, I will surely finish this after I finish next song. I don't mean maybe.

Lowson's Christmas

Hi, this is my first blogging. It's very cold! I came home just now and it's half past six now. Fuchinobe in early morning of fall or winter is very cold. I had a part-time job at Lowson from last night to this early morning. I'm really sleepy. By the way, do you like cake? Lowson start to prepare Christmas cake for this coming Christmas Day. The lowest-priced one is sold for 1,500 yen. If you reserve a Lowson's cake until November 30, you will be able to buy it more cheaply. One of them is 'Pikatyu's face. What a pretty cake it is!
